Or must the whole motherboard be replaced? I was busy working on it when it suddenly went off and now is dead. The charger and RAM works so pretty sure its the PSU.

What would this cost to repair if it canbe done? Thanks in advance.

Could also be the DC jack, maybe take it to a Laptop Repair shop to get it fixed...

Thanks guys, but I found a fix on the internet and got it working, well for a few minutes at least. Only to end up detaching the solder from the ribbon connecting the lcd and motherboard but at least I can get that soldered for less tha R50 so its all good.
