Well, I'm currently using the Y5070, it comes with a 1TB SSHD though it's quite slow, I'd rather put in a 7200rpm HDD or an SSD. (EDIT: seems that Wootware doesn't say it's an SSHD anymore, they might have changed it)
I would go with it for video editing as the i7-5500U only has two cores.
EDIT: I am assuming you are looking at this:
http://www.wootware.co.za/lenovo-id...-windows-10-home-premium-64-bit-notebook.html for the Y5070? I have the 1080p screen version.
If you can, try and order:

http://www.wootware.co.za/g-skill-f...3l-9-9-9-28-204pin-1-35v-notebook-memory.html for the RAM instead, save a little bit if you don't need the W10 Premium.

So the question is, do you do any gaming? Then the Y5070 as it has a graphics card that should play near every game that you throw at it (not at 4k though). For editing, the Y5070, multiple cores and higher performance per core, it's basically a desktop grade processor in a laptop.
Processor scores:
http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i7-5500U-vs-Intel-Core-i7-4720HQ
the i7-4720HQ wins easily, it uses more power though, so battery life will be worse. I have the 1080p screen, can game for an hour or watch movies ~3 hours to 4 hours on 80%/0% brightness. You'd be getting the 4k model, so it would use a lot more power.
EDIT3:

EDIT4:
and the 2160p will be way better than the 768p screen, lol. The question is, is the R5k worth it for you?
