Laptop recommendations

MacBook Air. Won't get better value than that in your price range. Bonus excellent battery life. Bonus super silent. Only downside is the ridiculous storage space. But make use of online backups and for your use case it is perfect.

If you don't mind the Apple ecosystem, IOS and the 13" screen, the mac book air is great..

However, if you prefer windows and/or a larger screen, the Dell Vostro 3530 is right on your budget(on sale at moment) and specs that will last you for as long as you look after the laptop.. Not to mention the included 3 year on-site warranty, where they will come to you to fix the laptop for warranty covered issues..

I need it mainly for online meetings, reading documents and making presentations :)

Budget R15K
My work just bought me this...

Ryzen 7, 32GB RAM, 512GB SSD for R13,999

Yeye Evetech EW wasn't my choice

Just know the risks of buying something that is more than half the price it should be, but your best option for this price range, with 3 year warranty (check that it is actually 3 years or just the remiander of the 3 years)

If it is a Dell make sure a transfer of ownership / asset transfer is completed. You need the previous owner / company name and postal address to do the transfer. If that information can't be provided, walk away.

My work has spend around 1 million ordering from @Flashgear over the last few years now. Any issues and he sorts it out.
