Laptop with microphone?

I'm looking for a laptop for <R8000 that has a built in webcam, but more specifically a built in microphone?

Is there such a thing?

Right, I've found out most laptops with build in webcams have built in mics.

Just go to your local Incredible thief, they should have a selective range of nice laptops, their are various brands out there, it all depends on what you'll use the notebook for.

I don't find the built-in mics to be that effective. I've always used an external el cheapo standalone mic for videoconferencing.

That's what I'd think... Just that the lady wanting the laptop wants everything built-in. Will make the suggestion though.
