Greetings Y'all,

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a problem i'm currently having, I just bought an HP Pavillion dv6000z the amd version. Now the problem is, i decided that the home edition packaged with it was not good enough, so i got xp pro, however, i decided i'd like to make an nlite install disc specifically for my laptop. The thing is i think i removed a couple of important drivers. Either that, or i didn't copy all the software that the laptop came with, it was on the hard drive, pre-created i can only assume. The problem i'm having now is, that the acpi ac adapter devices won't install, i've tried using the auto-find in windows and searching the net, but to no avail.
The hardware ids are: ACPI\ACPI0003
and: ACPI\PNP0C0A

Now this isn't really a major issue, however, because they're missing, windows won't recognise that i'm running of a battery, at all... And thus doesn't show a battery meter, which i'm sure as any of you who have used laptops will understand, this can be quite the challenging problem...

Your prompt help in this matter would be greatly appreciated,
Thanking you in advance,
Jm
