right, i personally HATE laptops, never realy liked them cos they are slow, and irritate me... but i need one because i am going to study in USA and yeah, they recommend having a laptop at your side... so could anybody recommend a good latop, id prefer something fast, not so much graphics, i doubt that i will be paying CS on a laptop, or anything other than Solitaire.. (although, if its going to help make life with a laptop easier, then id also go with gfx)

id like vista, ample hard drive space, a good screen... i like size, and some cool stuff like webcams etc...

Dont mind price right now, i will choose prices later on...

If anybody can recommend something from rectron or sahara, cos i have a contact hat can get me stuff from rectron/sahara...

i hav a laptop with a graphics card in it the extra price is really not worth it....
 
im not looking for the lambo or ferrari, just not slow, if i click or open something, no lag, just do. you know... that type of speed
 
take a look at my sig i run photoshop, corel draw etc runs 100% and fast and not expensive
 
Dude ... you're going to study in USA, which means you're gonna be there for 2 - 3 years ... buy a laptop there cause then you can get some awesome stuff that isn't available here and laptops are cheaper. Plus you'll still be able to use the warranty.
 
Buy it there.

Something to consider - chances are many of your classmates will be using a mac which fortunately are much cheaper in the US and Apple give student discounts. . . . and yes, feel free to load vista on it if you must :p :)
