Last minute holiday options

I ask this to well travelled forumites....

If I want to escape for say 7 nights for a well deserved break in say 5 days time.... What destinations are my options.

City or beach .
Budget is not an issue.
Must be visa free from SA
Just me and my leather J&H weekend bag.
I have a valid 5 year Schengen Visa
Due to my vocation, cannot travel to Israel or Pakistan

May I ask what your vocation is? Curiosity killed the cat.

Anyway, if you're happy with beach, Mauritius?
Otherwise, hit Europe with your Schengen - countless options. Prague, Vienna, Budapest, London etc etc.
 
My PA suggested the Four Seasons Mauritius. But that's kinda common... Forgive me for being elitist.

That is my fall back.

Thailand. Koh Chang if you want quiet. Koh Samui if you are looking for more of a party.
 
Boys... My ambition is to secure the arrangements by this weekend. Preferably by tomorrow as I am involved in prayer the entire Sunday. I will let you know. Pm me and I promise to send you pics.
 
I just arrived from Portugal today.

Go to Porto and the Douro Valley. Stay on a Quinta.

It will be the best and most beautiful experience ever.

Barcelona can keep you busy for a week. So much to see and do + there is a beach.

It's pretty easy actually. I had a long term assignment in Sweden, Spain and France. So just applied for multiple entry visa that permitted 90 day stay valid for 5 years.
 
Fly to Hong Kong, Go to train Station get Visa for China. Overnight in Hong Kong (Takes 24 hours for Visa app) taking in the view then hop on a train to China and go check out the Wall and Also go check out the palace among other sites.

You will need phone/tablet with English-Mandarin on device translation cause of poor signal in some area's.
