People who have not yet cast their votes in the general elections should queue at their voting stations by 9pm and patiently wait their turn, the ANC said on Wednesday.
"We have been assured by the... Electoral Commission [of SA (IEC)] that those who are at the voting station at 9pm, which is the closing time, will not be turned back until they have voted," African National Congress spokesman Jackson Mthembu said in a statement.
He urged latecomers to remain patient and not stray from their voting stations.
