Latency tonight on unshapped?

Anyone else having horrible latency tonight on unshaped (with WA)? Always feels better when I'm not alone

Lagging all night and some of the afternoon. Laggy and spiking up and down. I'm also on WA unshaped, southern suburbs Cape Town.

Funny thing is my normal shapped actually seems to have lower latency that usual oO

I'm wow I'm used to 750-850 on shapped, and 350-450 on unshapped.

Now I'm getting 550-600 on shapped and spikey up and down unshapped like you say shaman.

Someone flipped the switch the wrong way around?

EDIT: yeah, just phoned WA support, they're aware of the issue, and on it

Had the most rediculous lag last night. I use an unshaped connection with Telkom as the service provider. My latency is usually between 400ms - 500ms, lower if i'm lucky. But last night the latency was very spikey, got as high as 1800ms, and I kept losing connection. Not great when you're a tank with Kalecgos beating down on you. A whipefest. And the Telkom helpline rep was clueless.

last night was truly horrible, but I love webafrica and the option to change to the Verizon network

last night saix unshaped was about 1000 - 1200 ms, swapped to verizon and got 400 again

We have experienced numerous call volumes concerning issues with high latency on the unshaped accounts. We logged the concern with SAIX and await feedback from them... We will update you once the feedback has been received.

Ok, i live in edgemead cape town and since about the 15th September it's been awful latency wise, 5 faults later still no luck 2 with telkom internet and 3 with telkom ADSL, neither party willing to take responsibility

The best i got was fro ma SAIX tech called Shawn who bull****ted me by saying cape town has run out of bandwidth on the ATM network and voice is 1st priority and ADSL is not a guarenteed service so tough luck it will only get worse.

Ping your defualt gateway 196.25.1.1 and see what you get, anything above 40 and you have a problem, mine sits between 100 and 2000ms, from my router, tried 4 routers and 3 pc's.

any help will be appreciated, i get the same thing on my web africa unshaped account.

Spiked up to 6k ms last nigth on wow with telkom unshaped when i relogged later had 600ms like a shaped acount.
Should be 400-550 on unshaped normally.
