Anyone having lag spikes on WoW, i am on the ravenholdt server and have been lagged out a few times and have had bad lag spikes with unshaped webafrica saix, but i moved it over to verzion and it was around 499-540ms.

It's not your latency, get a better GFX card and up the memory a bit ;)
I have the same problem, the wife doesn't want me to buy a nice GFX card :(
 
i know the difference between graphic lag and latency. Its latency, because i have an nvidia geforce 8600 GT 512mb. Graphic latency does not cause you to get disconnected.

tbh it does. if you have ever been in a massive raid with full gfx settings, and an under performing gfx card you would have noticed this. im not saying this is your problem, im saying that this does happen :-)
 
I have the same problem. No raiding. Latency would go from 400ms to 2.8sec.
 
No other internet traffic on your PC while playing games ? (Virus updates, downloads, Trojans, windows, etc). Using a 4Mb line? Did the registry fix for windows to speed up your latency (instructions given somewhere in this forum)? Contacted telkom or webafrica to find out if there are services on your line, or that the line is working well?
Unless your PC is cramped for resources, and strugling to run WoW, it should not drop your connection. (BTW with connection dropped do you mean you have to reconect with your modem, or just being kicked out of the game?

we had alot of complaints from guild members in the last while think its telkom slacking again
 
I had quite severe latency issues last Tuesday. Neither Saix or Verixon worked, but the next day all were back to normal. Still having ~290 ms latency on either network.
I do get some random network drops though (seems to be around 1000 mins online, and sometimes just after midnight)
 
Latency was fine for most of the weekend, seemed like it was just friday.
