latest news toptv?

I am still very happy, haven't had any issues since my connection was activated. Billing went through fine etc.
X files and Moonlightning everyday :), I really enjoy Discovery ID & Science. Saw some great Astronomy documentaries the other day.
Also cool car & bike & boat stuff.
The movie channels don't really do it for me though.
 
no comment,3 weeks with a decoder that can't be installed,installers are refusing to touch top tv
 
TopTV is filling a void in our house. We are enjoying most of the documentary channels. Current TV is very good. Their classic movie channel MGM is 10x better better than TCM on DSTV. Fox FX is also very good. Showtime is starting to show more classic horror and Scifi. A lot of what they are showing in the horror movie line looks like Zone Horror in the UK. We may be getting SyFy or Horror channel later this year. The music channels make the package. Beats anything that DSTV Compact has to offer. TopTV music channels are only offered in the Premium packages of Sky and Virgin Media in the UK so well done to TopTV for bringing them to us. Their own movie channel TopMovies is still needing work. They appreantly building up stock etc. Movie rights are complicated in the Pay TV market. I have written many e-mails to TopTv with suggestions and they have always written back. So for a service that is barely 2 months old...Well done and continue to get better! As for the next few months...Expect at least 10-20 new channels added and new series added to their present channels (Answers to my e-mails to them). We must compare TopTV to DSTV COMPACT only (same price region/market) and it is obvious...TopTV is the winner.
 
MY experience with TOp Tv is awesome, im lovin every moment i set my eyes on my TV.
1) The Lifetyle Channel my wife is glued on them, and she tells me hse doesnt miss TSN, BBC L, from Dstv, FLN does it all and so much more.
3) while i was on Dstv Premium, i harfly ever set my eyes on any of their music Channel, reason being they were bring me to death, but i must say Toptv music channel are the best ever, Im Loving Magic, Kiss like that what sometimes i watch the whole day, not to 4get Kerrang.
4) The Music Channel are okay, that what Dstv Compact offers, Showtime + MGM+Silver sowd very good quily films, yesterday watch Slam and Im Reed Fish and i must say, very entertaining movies.
5) Their News Channel offering is out of this world, For British we gave BBC Incorporated by France 24, for US there is Fox which is for me the best news Channel, Amazing Stuff and very entertaining. not to 4get MSNBC always on OBAMA tail :)
6) The kiddies channel are great, very classic cartoon, better than Boomerang repeat of Tommy and Jerry.
7) Their Nature and Wildlife Channel rocks, Natura is better than putting for NatGeo and Wild (Including Animal Planet)
8) The Discovery Channels, are the best....im enjoying much of Disco ID than i ever enjoyed Crime and Investigation. that for shizol.

The list is endless there is so much i can input, but i see it would take on the dormain, which is why TTV should have their own forum.
Otherwise TTV does it for my Family. I Love Family Guy, my favorite Series especally Stewie
 
4400 is coming...

I see on TopTV's website they tell us that 4400 will be starting on the 13th of July.

Something to look forward to after the WC for me.

DStv showed 4400 about 18 months ago in a very frustrating fashion. They showed like five episodes and then nothing. I really felt like punching someone's lights out.

Hope I can follow it properly on TopTV.

How do you handle the family competing to watch their prefered channels, without the facility of multiview?

PEP doesn't accept them back. You have to go directly to TTV. PEP merely sells the units on behalf of TTV, but does not deal with any returns, queries, problems, etc. Goodluck...

Got all 4 seasons on my external HDD, haven't watched it yet. Now I can watch it through my Logik DVD player without writing it to disk. :)

I like FX and fox seems good too .... although I do not like the history channel .... or their discovery .... I think dstv might be better there ...
but I don't watch too much of it ... so might be incorrect there!!

and there is kiddie shows in the morning on Top One and on Saturdays on the Inspiration channel. I think there is more than enough. If there was more, I'll never get to watch Top TV.
 
My 22 month old daughter loves babytv.
Keeps her busy when we are getting ready for work in the mornings.

I actually dont watch it cause their is not much in terms of movies and series(current stuff) ... so its only the kids that watch. So more kiddies programs would def be good as even that is old stuff ... they should at least try to get some current stuff .. would then at least feel like I am getting some value
 
I have TopTV since the 2nd of May and I love TopTV I find something great to watch every night.
I downgraded from DSTV Premium Xtraview to Select 2 Xtraview earlier tonight.
I only watched a few HD soccer games since I got TopTV and I would have disconnected but my elderly mother watches KykNet.

I think TopTV is a thousand times better than DSTV.

Let me go I'm watching Kojak with one eye, after Kojak to bed. End of another day of great TOPTV viewing.
