Launching armature satellites?

Does anyone know of an contact that will launce a amateur satellite for me for kind of free, because I don’t have $10000000000 for rocket fuel and thermo tiles and all those stuff a rocket needs to launce by NASA, I’m kind of serious about this project and have contacts that might help me out with the hardware and manufacture of the satellite the satellite is a low weight its probably between 100 ~ 400 kg with a couple solar panels and dishes strapped on :rolleyes:

Hmmm 100kg..400kg? - have you considered an anti-gravity propulsion system to get it off the ground?
 
ahahah, how about you give me the plans for the anti-gravity propulsion system and I construct it :D lol

There are those wacky Americans who love launching amature rockets to space, it's their hobby. Try contacting them I think they have succesfully launched something into space by now :) I saw it on Discovery a while ago.

Otherwise just strap a hot air ballon to it and launch it way up :D who says it's gotta be outta space right??
 
lol. google has a .. oh wait thats to the moon. Well since the DoC wants cable to be SA owned i wonder if they will complain if the rockets used to send up comunication satellites are non SA owned?
 
My satellite will be used to make money out of it because it will be a certain service for clients and stations in South Africa or maybe Africa depends on the transmitter and project and license if needed so will it be ok with that organization if I gain money out of a satellite they launched for free for me?
 
If you making money from it then it aint amateur :sick:

I do know that the Russians have some old nuke subs that they are now using for satellite launches. Stellenbosch University is busy with a couple of projects with them. I know that there was a satellite meant to be launched earlier this year but I think it was delayed. Contact them for details.
 
Well I’ve already contacted University of Stellenbosch and got no reply (probably contacted the wrong sector) because of space agency told me to contact the Universities because they only launch loads from 4500kg+
 
No, I think it will be less then 400kg, maybe more like 100kg or less, and very straight forward sat, no pc’s on board only Linux firmware devices
