What a pity that law enforcement is so corrupt in SA!

Drivers should be re-tested at least every 5 years ( even me!!) - and the re-testing should be done by competent individuals who actually know something about driving and the rules of the road. Only then will we start seeing a reduction in the carnage on our roads.

I would only support retesting every 5 or 10 years if the driving standard required bore closer resemblance to how (responsible) people actually drive.

I would support the retest if you got caught for reckless driving/excessive speeding and the retest can happen on the same day that you book it.
