Is it reasonable that the Metro plods should be allowed to block the M1 South because they decided to have a wreath laying ceremony for one of their colleagues who was killed there the other day?

I don't have any details on how she died, whether hit by another motorist or trashed her car herself - and maybe that doesn't matter.

I also thought that the traffic authorities had decided that the placing of wreaths and crosses alongside the roads was taboo.

AFAIK that part of the M1 is national road. As I recall up to Corlett is CoJ road, upto Grayston is provincial, and then it becomes national.

As you know they are a law unto themselves- they think they can do whatever the hell they like. But they are LICE, plain and simple.

Solution is simple: don't use the M1 South until this escapade ceremony or whatever they want to call it, is over.

That is just plain stupid! What's your next recommendation, don't use robots because taxis skip them, don't use hospitals because they overcharge?

The man has a point, these were the same idiots who closed down the M2 illegally because they wanted to strike. Metro cops are cockroaches.

I agree wholeheartedly. As always they can do as they like. And Skinner, please keep your infinite wisdom to yourself.

Your contribution to society is unrivaled. Do they have a nobel prize for stupid solutions?

Maybe not, but Skinner has already been awared some rather interesting awards :) the ones usually reserved for fools.

They were 2 in the car trying to chase a bike, the driver of the car lost control and she died. Very stupid to be racing after a bike tbh ;)

Exactly - what was the driver's plan, to force the bike off the road? Kill that rider?

I hope they a charging the driver with reckless endangerment.

Like that would ever happen, they will just say that they are doing their job

Ja and Wayne Minnaar will handle the media side of things and deny everything anyways

In my books he's a super first class general idiot. I love how he comments and defends certain actions of his cops when he has no idea or clue what it pertains to:rolleyes:

Just what do you have against the louse community??? There is NO good reason why the louse community should be insulted this way.

I agree. That was a low blow for lice everywhere! :D

Well at least we have one advantage in SA, the biggest criminals and dishonest people drive around in marked cars and uniforms...easy to recognize...Metro Police and then the SAP. :D

It's the SAPS btw, IMO you can call the Metro Police what you like, since in my book they're invertebrates with yellow bellies.

1. I have no idea what vetting process they go through (if any). A good few of our illustrious MPD have criminal records.
2. 6 months training means you're ready to be released on the public ... $h1t NSMs trained longer than that.
3. They "lose" more weapons than the entire SA public combined.
4. They don't think the free flow of traffic is their job.
5. Given the sheer size of some of them, I don't think they could outrun a tortoise ... bring back the old army fitness test, if they don't pass they join the unemployment queue.

Well, well....

they got my wife somewhere in one of these fscking "construction sites" 2 weeks ago.

There are no signs that say the speed limit is anything below 120km/h. Going there to go and check and confirm this.

At this time, the louse department can't produce a photograph.....
