Went to see a lawyer on Friday about my overbilling problem. He is prepared to take my case.
This is what he told me:
1) The bill clearly states in bold that the billing is "month to month" ie 30 day period. Not 3 months as MTN billed me.
2) The service provider did not warn me that the data counter does not work.
He also told me that the new "Consumer protection act" or something is to be passed within a month or two then he would win the litigation in a breeze at no cost to me. AND I don't even have to be present in the magistrates office.
