I have a Viewsonic Vx 922 19" which has started to develop a bit of a problem as follows:
If i switch on the monitor before boot up, i get the boot screen coming up, then it blanks out as if starting to load Win, but then the power light begins to go off and on about every 5 seconds, and i get no more picture, however if i leave the monitor off through bootup and wait until the machine is fully up then switch on, it goes to my desktop.
If i am on my desktop , and want to change my resolution, i get the standard message "your windows will now adjust etc", but as soon as i hit enter to proceed the screen blanks out and once again my power light start to blink off and on. I then have to switch off the monitor switch it back on to get my desktop back.
Does it in safe mode as well as normal.
It does this more on the analog connection, than on the digital, however it happens occasionaly on digital as well.
What are my options/choices in this scenario, have googled myself silly and found one or two others with similiar/same problems, however no solutions offered, and not the same monitor either.
