Hi Guys

Looking for an educated answer hopefully, i have a 32" Full HD LA32A550 smasung lcd tv hooked up to my pc. Problem is it intermittently goes blurry on images and games, i called the place of purchase and they referred me onto TM Electronics to do the warranty repairs, since they swapped out the main board its been fine for like 2 days now the problem is back. I have tested on a laptop as well as my pc and its done the same thing. so my question is can the panel intermittently go blurry?

thx in adv. guys

How is it connected to the PC?

If you're using VGA, have you tried using HDMI instead and see if the problem persists?

Does the blurring also occur if your TV is hooked up to normal TV? (aka. DStv, MNET or SABC)

If not, then do you have the latest drivers for your graphics card?

im only answering cause no one else is (im no expert)

but here's someones reply to similar problem on Tech Forums (might be you:D)

The TV doesnt have the ability to run Clear Type. Which Vista does use to make fonts on LCD screens more legible and better looking. The problem is that the TV cant support what the PC is trying to put out. That is why your text looks blurry. Vista uses Clear Type, TV does not.

You can try turning off Clear Type see if that helps.

Text seems fine crisp and clear images are fine one minute the next blurry like they have been photo shopped, its not my pc have tested with a laptop does the same. if i change to tv mode anrhen change back to pc it used to fix it now it dosnt. the mainboard has been changed this week on the tv but the problem is still here

Clearly your panel is faulty. You've been through several source signals now and the only common thing is the panel. So therefore the panel is faulty, either on the connection or some internal circuitry. No matter how many sources you connect to they're clearly not going to fix it. If a dedicated technician can't fix it, then neither can we.

All I can offer is "Have you tried turning off and on again?"

It's like bafana bafana ... they keep losing no matter how many coaches they have... the problem persists... and the only constant is?

Either send it back or it's time for a new one if the problem is very hard to ignore.

If the problem persists on multiple sources then there's not much I can tell you other than you have to swap the TV out for a new one if it's under warranty.
