LCD Repairs ?

Hi I have an Acer AL1717, LG L1720P as well as a Benq 17" LCD that need repairing ? Anyone know of a company who is able to repair these LCDs at a decent price ? ( Jhb Area)

Try calling Computer Repair Technologies (CRT - they are the Samsung and LG repair agents), not entirely sure if they do Acer and BenQ, worth a try though.

If the laptop screen is dim, but still visible, it's probably the inverter. This can be replaced yourself - I replaced mine without much fuss. Instructions are usually available online for your particular model.

Of course, it might not work, and you risk damage or even injury! But you can save on the repair charge.
