Can someone please suggest LCDs, 19" or bigger, normal or widescreen, that can also rotate 90°. So far locally I've found:
* HP W2207h (but only 1 year guarantee, which sucks, and glossy screen)
* LG L1982U (bit pricey, and can't find any reviews on it)

I saw some of the glossy/shiny LCDs in the shop today, they are beautiful, but it's not going to work for me.

I kinda like the glossy screen on my HP, but I guess it can be in issue if there's sharp light shining directly on it. As for the rotation its pretty nice, you don't have to assemble anything when you take ti out the box, it can twist 90° vertically as well as horizontally (as in you can have the screen facing upwards, which makes it easier to carry). it has 2 USB slots on the side but supports HDMI not DVI (DVI sucks anyhow). Along with the slossy Samsung 22" lcd its the prettiest around.

But make sure you get the w2207h, not the w2207...the w2207 sucks compared to the HDMI version..

I have that LG. All i can say is its the best investment i have ever made. Seriously, do your self a favor, spend a bit more, get that, and you will be very happy indeed. Never had a problem with mine at all. Plus the specs are very good. 2ms response time, 3000:1 contrast ratio.

Yeah, I saw the glossy screen, almost looked like a mirror :p Glossy screen I guess I can live with, but only a 1 year guarantee compared to others 3 years, that's substantial.

I have an old Samsung 19" (SyncMaster 910t) that does that. The refresh rate sucks though

Found this under "Archived monitors" on Samsung's site :D

That's good to hear, I'm seriously considering it, but couldn't find any reviews or user comments on it.

I think because of the price so few people have bought it. When i got it it was just released so i couldn't find any reviews either. But i got it any way, and it was a very good choice. I Wouldn't trade it in for any thing.
