I see this is quite a problem with LCD TV's by googling it.
Now have to use a fan to cool it down so it won't switch off every few minutes.
Anyone else have this problem?

Make/Model? The heat emanated by my screen has always been a thing for me but its as well ventilated as the Xbox and HTPC that share the space.

Mine is a Mecer LV32CG.
Top is always hot. Fan works well but not a fix. I can open the back and look for overheated component or loose soldering from heat but not sure if it is lead free solder.
This may render the warranty void. If it has one.

yikes its winter now

what will happen in 30 degree heat? fan wont cope thats for sure

send it back or get an aircon

Mustek just emailed me to say that my TV is still under warranty.
Will take it to them next week.
The number above the barcode has a coded date.
Thanx
