Nice :)

From the look of those it seems they operate in a similar way to canon - iow worldwide warranty on the glass and a regional warranty on the body.

Why did you change your mind from the D40?
feels much better in my hands
comes with 18-105VR lens
has better exposure meter
has very detailed screen

But remember, the D40 produces about the same image quality. The D90 has "Active D-Lighting", which helps with exposing, but just use exposure comp on the D40, and set "D-Lighting" in the retouch menu. As far as res goes, the D90 is only marginally sharper than the D40.

Congrats man.
I dig your pics on flickr.

Shot.

Aah, I see. So you spend an additional 10K :D

If I knew I would like shooting with a DSLR so much, I would have bought one in Thailand ... man the Nikon ones sold cheap there.

I am making this comment because I saw on the warranty receipt "Printed in Thailand"

Sorry to derail ... but I wanted to know if it would be fine to buy a second hand flash ... I have a bit of a cash flow problem.

Those are midget pics!
I could only make out the last one, and the camera looks pretty fine!

Did you try clicking on the thumbnails? ;)
Yip, and it doesnt make a difference, cause according to FF the image is 100x66 pixels in size. And clicking them doesnt get me any further

Those links are better! Dont know what the problem with the other set (or FF) is but now I can see! Not quite through a D90 but rather a D90 :D

Congrats.
Those Nikon lens caps are so much better than Canon's - much easier to use with the hood in place.

+1 With the hood on it's pretty tricky to get the cap off from the 24-105. I always swap it with the Sigma cap, so the Sigma cap stay with the camera and the Canon cap stay on the lens that's in the bag.
