My mom has been a huge help in the first 2 months after little baby Blu was born and I want to buy her a gift to say thank you. A Le Creuset product seemed an appropriate choice - good quality and classy, just like her :)

Anyone ever bought the large bean pot? Want to buy that, together with small soup bowls, but need to know if it is worth it?

They have a local online store located here, if you want to look at prices as per the thread's title. Seems you're also interested in value for money, which I am unable to help you with I'm afraid. They don't seem too unreasonably priced when compared to other higher end brands, when looking at their cast iron range.

Thanks messuga.

I was more interested in whether their serving range is good value for money.

My wife and I bought a couple of their cast iron casserole pots with wedding money - they are terrific. They are more expensive than what you would find in say @Home, but they are really worth it. Work very well, washes easy, conducts and distributes heat very good.

No idea about their bean pot - can't find it on the site?

La Creuset = The Hummer of pots.

Whatever you spend on it, you won't regret it.

Value for Money? Well, its not cheap, but its worth the pricetag.

Hummer??? Could you not have used a German car brand ?! Eeeek! :D

Take her shopping. That's the only way to get exactly what she needs and avoids disappointment.

Bluno why on earth are you buying your mother cooking goodies?

Get her a day at the spa or something special. Cooking pots are not something special :D

I must respectfully disagree. Le Creuset pots are indeed something special ;)

They're having a sale on the Kiwi, Mustard, and Midnight Blue range at the moment. Ends on the 14th. There are stores in Hyde Park and Killarney.
