Software developers need to be detail-oriented and have excellent problem solving and analytical abilities. They should have good communication skills and be able to work independently or as part of a team. They should have been in a team or product lead position and have the soft skills which come with being in a senior role.
Typical duties include:

• Oversee development staff and activities for all assigned applications
• Works with product team to define and create overall strategy and ensures that it is being achieved
• Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities to move requirements from inception to production
• Communicating with a team that includes analysts, engineers and quality assurance testers in order to coordinate and document application development and testing
• Obtain and maintain a deep working knowledge of the systems on which you work to enable mentorship and knowledge sharing opportunities
• Recommending system changes and enhancements
• Documenting software specifications and training users

Required skills:

• Backend / server-side development experience
• Design and specification experience
• Team leadership and mentorship experience
• Web service experience (Web API; WCF useful)
• NET 4.5+ using C# and ASP.NET
• Angular 4+
• Bootstrap
• jQuery
• MS SQL / T-SQL experience
• Knowledge of Agile Development (Scrum)
• History and knowledge of creating high performance, robust systems

Highly Preferable:

• MVC (preferably 5)
• Diploma / degree in software related field
• .NET Core exposure
• Cross-system integration experience
• Deployment experience (Octopus Deploy, etc.)
• AWS Services (Lambda, API Gateway, Data Pipelines, Aurora etc.)

Experience – 6 years +
