I am considering buying the gpu mentioned in the title, however I can't find any user reviews, benchmarks or anything really on it. So I was hoping some of you could help me :).

Link: Leadtek Gtx 660 ti

Thanks in advance

Rather go something ati if you are not willing to get 670 at least.

Don't buy Leadtek , I heard they are rubbish.

Rather go for Gigabyte,EVGA or ASUS

FTFY. Asus is ****ty as hell with their fans. My gigabyte 670 oc is a lot better than the 560 asus in the other box.

Cost does hamper most of us so 670 isn't really an option. If the 660ti is what you want then get it, there is nothing wrong with that card. In regards to the make, I had a tv card from them that is about 7years old and it runs to this day.

Impossible to save up a little extra for ?

Not sure if your tv card can do gpu virtualization... unless it has a kelper inside.

Being a student I know how hard it is to save up when you have nothing xD. As I said, I only had a tv card from them that was fine, so I cannot vouch for anything but the single build quality of that tv card

My budget has been stretched completely to the limit, this is really the best I can do. Anyway, if I ever OC this card I can get it to perform better than a stock 670 according to THIS
Also it comes with bordelands 2, a game I was going to buy. So I see the price as R3100 which is brilliant :D.

Might want to think twice about it. There is no guarantee that you will get speed X when ocing the kelper since it is a "varying speed gpu" in order to save power. It has a hard-switch to turn it self down when certain parameters are met which of course makes the ocing job bit more complex than just saying I want x speed.

In that regard it seems that kelper is nvidia's first attempt at this bull**** of having made the gpu power managed by automatically varying the speeds. If I knew this before hand I might have gone the ATI route since they already had their ****ups in the 48xx range.

I'm looking for bang for buck and for 1080p gaming the 660 ti should be just fine and dandy

To be honest if you have done your research, which it seems you have, then go for it. I personally like nvidia and 660's are amazing. Good luck on your purchase :) <3
