Hi,
I hope I am not duplicating information with this thread.
I have a HTC Touch Diamond which I find more portable than my TyTN II.
The problem was short battery life. I phoned the tech side at Leaf and was informed that they were waiting for a ROM upgrade to improve the situation.
That was it! No further discussion.
I checked out the XDA site and found that HTC had released a 1100mAh battery and that Expansys had stock.
I phoned Leaf today and enquired if they had stock. I nearly fell off my perch when the answer came back, affirmative.
Needless to say I hoofed it to Fourways and ended up with the battery, a car kit, and screen protectors.(I have Garmin XT installed)
When using the car kit, the standard battery must be used, as the extended battery is thicker and will not fit in the cradle.
The new battery cover has a rubberised finish and should be more durable.
The overall thickness is about 13mm and the weight is up slightly.
XDA reports are positive on this battery upgrade.
