Learn to code – the best tips for beginners

Technology has become a key part of everyday life for billions of people around the world.

This growth, combined with continued innovation within the tech space, means there is a high demand for people who can code.

While I’m a big fan of choose a language (I recommend Python), follow some tutorials and just get started, I think that the article may also want to mention “universities” as a possible alternate path to becoming a coder or at least to take it to the next level.

If you are an adult and know nothing about coding, however, do not despair – there are many ways for you to learn.
I'm amazed the article doesn't mention Khan Academy or codeacedemy - two free places to learn the basics. Bit of a kak omission.

Edit: my bad - I see codeacademy is mentioned. Khan is also worth adding to the list.

They should get all those HuffingtonPost and Buzzfeed SJW journalists who have been laid off to read this.
