Leaving Iburst

Finally made the switch after years of threatening to do so. My Iburst experience in the last year has been nothing short of miserable, shocking browsing and download speeds. Back when Iburst sort of worked I could download a 700mb file in about an hour and bit. Now it takes me five hours on a good day.

I have an external antenna but that never really helped, kept my signal at a constant 100% but speeds never got better.

Well migrated to Telkom Lte, still awaiting my router. So its a few more days on Iburst for now.

I would have taken that option but I am unsure how the latencies are like for online gaming, though I heard LTE Advanced is better for that?

I would have opted for the LTE advanced but its not offered in my suburb yet. The way I see it anything is better than Iburst. A colleague brought his LTE modem to work a while back and he downloaded a 800mb file in 4 minutes flat using IDM. So if I can get anywhere near that speed I will be in seventh heaven.
