This whole downgrade from 1mb to 384kpbs(if only I got 384!) is rubbish. I'm not getting feedback from MWEB.

@MWEBGuy thanks for....... oh wait. nothing.

Which ISP can give comparable internet performance but with actual customer service?

EDIT: Ok just got reply now.... Lets see how this pans out.

Good Morning cobuss

I have inboxed you this morning, your ADSL line is up to 2mb at the moment. We managed to sort this out yesterday.

My apologies for the delay in my reply, I received confirmation of the line upgrade this morning.

Only saw your message after I bitched...

I suppose its now up to Telkom to get the line up to par again...

Thanks for getting this done. It counts. :)

Its always a pleasure ;)

How is your experience at the moment, if you encounter any connectivity problems or high latency. Please let me know and I will log the line fault accordingly, we'll deal with Telkom on your behalf.

Reliable ISP

Hey, I'm pretty new to these forums so please forgive me if I'm posting in the wrong one. I've recently wanted to take my gaming online but I'd need a reliable ISP to make it happen. So far MWeb seems to be pretty standard to my needs. I would like to know which packages MWeb currently has on offer and what their price range is. Thanks in advance.

Used to be with Mweb for 8 years and I needed an ISP that knows what I want and I have control over. Cape Town based ISP called Web Africa check their site out. I am on a 1mb (now 2mb, everyone has been upgraded by Telkom) Uncapped. These guys ROCK! :)

I would recommend:
1.) A clean tampon
2.) A hug
3.) Mweb as ISP
