I am looking at purchasing a 3d LED backlit TV, and have been looking around and comparing prices, but something caught my eye. On gumtree they are advertising LED and LCD tv's for a 1/4 the actual price, but limited details are given. Is this a scam? If anyone has also been looking into this, please post your information, because i see more and more of these personal ads are showing up around the country.

Ok i did some research , and eveyone must stay away from these ads on gumtree and bid or buy and classifieds etc.

this is a worldwide thing, plus i emailed the guy, and he said that they purchase in bulk , but when i ran his email through google ,this is what came up

Definitely a scam, I've messed with them a few times requesting things like Version 8 HDMI cables which I could use to play HD videos from my cellphone to the screen, which they have a very good prices!

We got one of those too-good-to-be true Plasmas in our office (been here for 3yrs now). Its a Tobishi
