LED TV for my Xbox Console

Hi, know supposed to google but I would thought to hear your trustly opinion.

I'm planning to buy 32" LED TV, Samsung or Sony, with HDMI, USB port.

Mostly i will playing it with my Xbox360 (very old xbox with 20gb I bought 3 years ago) and some DVD to enjoy.

I would like to know anyone who has experience can share your thought?

Should I require HDMI for sharper better experience?

hi. im assuming you have a 100hz led - motion flow is huge difference from a 60hz tv, weather led or lcd.

Yes LED is 100hz and our LCD 42" is 60hz

LED is LCD just the backlighting is different, you might've gotten him a 100/120hz TV instead of the 50/60hz one instead. Rather look at getting a 100/120hz LCD over a LED TV, as the LED could also have issues with colours etc... Though I've had no input lag issues on my 60hz LCD.

best thing to get is the new plasma models use less power than the LED tv's and is sharper and more responsive liek 600hz response and about the same price trust me you wont go wrong lifespan is rated at 10 000 hours or something liek that as well

I have a 42" LG LED tv (100hz) gameplay is tops, definitly use the HDMI, there is a massive difference when compared to the AV.

I am honestly not sure how to respond to this, as your facts are incorrect on most counts, Plasma's do not use less power then LED LCDs, in fact they don't use less power then CCFL LCDs, the new ones use about 180watts and that is for the 42 to 43" size range, this can be expected to go up to 300+ the larger then screen size, while similar sized LEDs run at 80watts.
Also you need to please read up about sub-motion fields and why 600hz is just a marketing thing in reality, but yes the plasma will have better input lag and response due to it's response times being 0.00001ms, while it's refresh rate is still only 60hz.
Also describing a plasma as sharp is weird, I'd say it has better blacks and perhaps colours depending on the model gotten, but it's not sharper then an LCD, the lifespan is also incorrect it's up to 60 000 hours now.
I just warn against going for LED's right now as they aren't 100% right and for the price premium not worth it.

True. And don't forget backlight bleed is more frequent on LED than on LCD. But True as above. Go LCD, but with 100/120hz. I thin the LG's have the lowest response times ~ 2ms?
