Left 4 Dead - Steam - MAC

Hey guys...

Bought Left 4 Dead 1 and Left 4 dead 2 on steams Halloween special last year for $ 7.5...and just downloaded it and played last night for the first time.

WOW! What an awesome game!!

Just wanted to find out if anybody else has been or has played this...

Only thing I don't like is that it doesn't save progres.. eish!

I've always been interested, but never actually tried it. What do you mean it doesn't save progress? Does it at least save the levels you've completed?

It's really an awesome game! From what I have played so far (1.5 hours) you should give it a go! Freaky as **** with the zombies running out of the dark towards you

It has all levels available...so you go in wherever you please...so yes it "saves" levels, but I just remember where I am at that point and then go back. Which means you need to finish a level before you exit.

Has different difficulty levels aswell

how long is the average level then? can you get through it in say an hour?

I cant remember now as I don't have it in front of me..but there were multiple levels within levels or whatever, or campaigns if you will...so basically to get from one safe "room" to the next, took be between 20min - 45min.

So to answer your question, from what I have played so far yes

Yeah guess you're right here...just think an auto-save (at least) function would have been nice.

Now you have me interested. So I take it you're playing single player right? I'm not a multiplayer guy, but I always heard mixed reports on how good the single player is actually on this.

Single player is good. Many hours of zombie-killing fun. Very replayable. Worth getting.

oh well I started downloading it last night. Looking forward to some zombie slaughtering goodness. There was a great zombie stage on saints row 3 that really got me in the mood for this kind of thing.
