Hope you are all well!

Question! My wife and I are separated at present, I have had to move into my own flat and obviously pay rent, We have not filed for divorce as yet but she is keeping my son away from me, She will not allow me too see him unless I start contributing which I can't do at present as I am paying rent, and am barely coming out on my salary, Is what she doing legal ?

You aren't divorced, and you're not helping support the child....

It may not be legal, but there is bugger all you can do about it until you start the divorce proceedings really... and if you are barely coming out on your salary atm, then you are gonna get roasted by the lawyers.

You as the father have rights of access so wifey cannot refuse access to your child - get in touch with the family life center who are best to assist you legally and give you the right advice, they also charge reasonable rates unlike lawyers.
