Can someone please tell me if the legend 7800 GT has TV/out please?

An acronym for Video In, Video Out. This term is used to describe the additional inputs/outputs that many graphics cards have, allowing them to display frames onto televisions or digital flat panels screens, and record signals from video.

Yes you can, but it also doubles as a video capture card from an external source (VCR, etc.)

I do not think it has a TV tuner. If that is what you are asking.

Thanks, I know that I would have to have a separate tv tuner. What i meant was it can do the whole tv out thing and also receive inputs.

The 7900gt is here and its as powerful as a 7800gtx and its about the same price as the 7800gt. You might want to wait a bit...

I will know by tomorrow but rumour has it that the gigabytes,XFX's etc are about R3200. So i am guessing the legends will be around R2400.

Note:i am guessing.

They are in SA already pricing just needs to be confirmed.
So i think to get a 7800 now might be quite stupid

Personally I would wait for the 8 series to be launched later this year. Quite stupid to get the last product in the range if you ask me...

Yeah, I'd take the 7900GT although if you're a 3-5 year upgrader, it could be worth it to wait till DirectX 10 cards come out.
