I am having problems with my MWEB connection. I recently had connected the ADSL router/modem at my house in the Westville area and had subscribed to Netflix. While watching a movie on Netflix for the first time I noticed that the picture started to buffer and then after a while I got a message on the screen that there is no internet connection. So I went onto the TV Network settings and noticed I could not find the MWEB network name in the list. After a few minutes it automatically reconnected. I can then conitue watching a movie for approx. 20/30 minutes and it does the same thing again. This router is only a year old and I do not suspect that it is a router problem. I am having the similar problem at my dads house with the MWEB connection. At my dads house, I called MWEB and reported the problem only to be told that there is a problem with the line and that I should contact TELKOM. Telkom sent out a technician who tetsed the line and siad that there was nothing wrong with the line, its a fault with MWEB and MWEB still says its not from there side. These are 2 different houses and in 2 different areas. Both the routers are new only about a year old and both are from MWEB. What could be causing this problem?

Post your line stats that you can find on the router, it is possible that your connection is unstable or a line issue, also are you using a lan cable or wifi?

Try using a cable, its a drag but usually more reliable and if the streaming issue goes away you know that the problem is with the wifi.

It can be interference with the wifi or the wifi is faulty on the router or device you are using.

Its a brand new router. The Tv is not close to the router to have a wired connection and why is it happening at 2 two different addresses with the same MWEB type router only a year old

Try one of the free 1GB accounts offered by many ISPs.
