Lenovo IdeaPad S100 BIOS

I have a Lenovo IdeaPad that needs to be redone. I've tried to load the boot menu (F12) and the system asks for a password. I've tried going into the bios, and the system wants a password. I've stripped the machine, removed the battery overnight and still the BIOS wants a password.

Does anybody know what said password might be? Or know of a way I remove the darn thing off this machine!

Have you tried a bootable usb device? If you are lucky it may boot from usb & you can then try PC CMOS Cleaner(www.pccmos.com).

In many cases you will have to get the whole bios reflashed.
