Hey everyone,

Id like to ask for some help, im currently looking for a dual-sim phone & i know theres not much choice in Za.

The best value for money phone ive found is the Lenovo

Specs

The shop i want to order from has a facility to root the phone and install your nescessary language packs including google maps & so forth.

Online Shop Link

It has an amazing battery capacity although i see it eats 13.3 watts an hour.

The online shop also has an option of preloading the phone or in other words rooting the phone and including language packs ,google play store & google maps etc.

From what i know if its unlocked it can take all network carriers worldwide?

Any help or advice will be appreciated! Thank You :o

Hey...

I know about the Lenovo P770. I almost bought it from them but the only set back is that it only supports the WCDMA 2100 MhZ band for 3G. What network are you on? If you're on Cell C, you won't be getting 3G on this phone as its 3G is in the 900MhZ band. Since my most used number is on Cell C I can't be getting this phone.

So it depends what network you're on. Otherwise the dual sim, 3500 mAh battery + Jelly Bean is great for $239.

As it is I am eying the Dual Sim Galaxy Note II. Costs $900 (pretty steep) but should be worth it- That's less than the cash price of the regular note II in SA anyways.

Thank you for the feedback stannsh, appreciate it man. I was thinking a few hours ago about the network cause i did come across this website browsing the other day http://maps.mobileworldlive.com/ you just type in SA and select your network

The phones spec according to eco talk

2G:GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz

3G:WCDMA/HSPA: 900/2100MHz

although i do see what you saying, gsmarena says its hsdpa 2100mhz only, have you made sure with ecotalk though dude?

In any case im not on Cell C & i would love to try out a dual sim, always liked lenovo products you know, thank you again for the input.

Peace

Stannsh i missed the part where you said you gonna get the Galaxy Note 2, i took a look at it & it looks very good dude id love to get a Samsung similar to that after this lenovo though.
