Lenovo working on foldable ThinkPad

Lenovo announced that it has developed what it claims to be the world's first-ever foldable PC.

The company showed off its foldable ThinkPad X1 prototype at its Accelerate conference in Florida yesterday.

Nice! In essence a high-powered tablet.

Sigh. Looks cool at first glance, less so when given some consideration. An annoyingly small 9.7" screen in laptop mode using an even more annoying on screen keyboard (or the included but annoyingly separate hardware keyboard). Or open it up to a gorgeous 13.3" oled screen with its fscking annoying crease down the middle.

Any way that you spin it a sub-1kg 12" 2-in-1 detachable is a way less annoying proposition.

Nevertheless good to see innovation taking shape and may pave the way to something more pleasing.
