We follow the bottom-up value philosophies pioneered by Ben Graham and David Dodd when compiling portfolios, looking for often unloved and undervalued securities both in South Africa and in global markets. Our flexible mandate means that we take no cognisance of traditional indices, instead focusing first and foremost on capital preservation. Our aim is to compound client wealth in excess of inflation with a low risk of capital loss.
