Less for more. TELKOM Per second billing. Will TELKOM will again rewrite the "per second billing" concept script as with the broadband "per Gig billing". Another Surprise on the way? Imagine per second billing on top of "per Gig billing" renamed to "Data rate billing" in per second units. Won't be to far fetched in TELKOMS mind, would it?

I mean now, on ADSL, you pay to send an e-mail and your partner pay to receive it (Excluding fixed costs only bandwidth), Free internet data is no more free thanks to TELKOM! so nothing in TELKOMS existence could not be a shocking surprise can it?

It is a move in the right direction - but one has to call an awfull lot to make it worth the while.

It is interesting how they exclude internet access for which they want another arm & leg.

this plans are absolutely RIDICULOUS!!!

150 internet hours for R150??? WTF

One infiniti call is R9.20 as far as I remember, I was doing four of those per month (over the weekends) each for 60 hours (from 19h on Friday to 7h on Monday), making total of 240 hours for about R36.80!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there anything that originates from Telskum that isn't ridiculous?

While 3rd class citizen's like Rikush1t come up with bright ideas like that you can't expect much can you? People that work for Telskum have their IQ capped at around 60 ... :D

How would they know if you are phoning an internet number if say phoning 0113407501 or even better my office line connected to my dial in server

You have to register the ISP number with them - most ISP dial up numbers are already registered - I used Surfmore before i got adsl. same principal.

Not that - I just know how their archiving works. That link probably would have been fine the day the article came out. :)
