DUDES seriously know

We, the public, really need to find way of actually assisting hellkom, myadsl and antitrust.

We need to think of ideas that actually work and start acting on them.

Myadsl, hellkom , and antitrust hav paved the way for us we really need to start actively helping them in whatever way we possibly can.

C'mon guy, Its our respinsibility to make sure that the telecoms in this country is fair.

LETS DO THIS
.

Thanks for the support Kongwane!

People will be able to easily support us, at little financial cost, once we have the stickers done. Buying a T-shirt from antitrust is another way to support us financially, as well as making a public statement about Telkom.

Haha, I was wondering around parliament the other day wearing my Anti-Telkom Crew T-shirt - drew a lot of comments!

I definitely agree!! I would do more except that I'm stuck here until middle December.

Would anyone be willing to sell the stickers and t-shirts at fleamarkets? I'm currently in New Zealand, so that'll be a little hard for me :P We could also put up banners and give out flyers and stuff at places like that...

I think the focus should be taken off Telkom, and put on the department of communications. Telkom will really just do what a company does.. and that is to make money. Telkom can do whatever they like as they have free reign over the telecomunications sector/market. The people that carries the responsibility for the current telecomunications and broadband mess is the department of communications and the laws that stiffle this sector. Even worse is that nothing is really being done to improve the situation. Real competition is needed whereby the customer (and not the state) looks after their own interests by choosing a phone company or broadband provider because there are lots to choose from.

Yeah, that does make sense you know. As far as I understand it's the Department of communications and ICASA (International Cycling Association Of South Africa :P). Is that right? It makes more sense for pressure to be put on government and from there they will put pressure on Telkom (if needed).

dvius, please email your details to me at melissajane at antitrust dot co dot za.

Thanks! :D
