I wish I had the money to make ads that oppose this, I have many valid ideas on how to disclaim these videos of theirs...
Doesn't cost too much to make a video. I remember back when all this kicked off, DJ... made a series of videos as well.

the part i am trying to figure out. how can you willingly make a video, and announce who you are? Ministers/ Econmist etc. I will basically have to retire after such a video as nobody will ever employ me again.
So yes - i suspect Sanral paid quite a few incentive bonuses for these guys to participate in the promoting the mess that is e-tolls.

Take a standard issue modern smart phone, get some ordinary south africans and ask them how e-tolls have benefited their lives. Then capture their response. Then add your comments afterward.

They are spouting words without taking into account that it disproves a lot of the motivation for that e-tolls.
The one overarching platitude is that the user must pay. So let those other users pay, and reduce my taxes accordingly. Or up services in my area - in accordance to the proportion of taxes I am paying... Mmm, didn't think so.

Add to that that only users who pass under the widely separated gantries pay.
Add to that that there is 6 billion "outstanding" after 2 years, so it means the system can pay for itself in 5 years and then the gantries can be scrapped? Didn't think so.
