Lets stop complaing about Telkom and start doing something!!!

Seriously now, this entire site devotes more than 50% of its content to lashing out at Telkom...We all know how bad the situation is and all this complaining seems to be doing absolutely jack! We know about the corruption and we know about them controlling the situation even more because of their power but can't we all do something to stop this?????

if you dont like telkom, dont use them, that is the only option you really have. so if you dont need ADSL or telephony, dont use them. you cant do anything to change the ways of the government cash cow

yes both of you are stating the obvious and this is exactly why nothing is being taken seriously enough to enforce change...we need drastic action people...all of us regularly come to this site and hope for change but most of us are not active enough in the whole struggle and this is why there is no change taking place!

i agree, but we can only do so much. at the end of the day, ICASA has the final say. so if we are going to affect change, we need to figure out how we are going to do that.

do the individuals from ICASA that are representing this case even have any idea whats going on with regards to the situation at hand? are they themselves active ADSL users that feel what we feel or have they just been assigned this particular case without knowing the inner details?

I am really not trying to be offensive, but by not stating how you are going to make a difference and do something about Telkom, you are just like everyone else who moans about them.

I think it would be better if you posted something when you have a plan on how to destroy there monopoly and get us on board, other than posting and waiting for someone else to bring up an idea.

Just a suggestion, once again, not trying to be rude, just stating my thoughts on your post.
