Let's talk Cologne

I thought it would be good idea to start a thread on Cologne.

Right...

Cologne (English pronunciation: /kəˈloʊn/; German Köln [kœln] ( listen), Colognian: Kölle [ˈkœɫə] ( listen)), Germany's fourth-largest city (after Berlin, Hamburg, and Munich), is the largest city both in the German Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia and within the Rhine-Ruhr Metropolitan Area, one of the major European metropolitan areas with more than ten million inhabitants.

Cologne is located on both sides of the Rhine River, fewer than eighty kilometers from Belgium. The city's famous Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom) is the seat of the Catholic Archbishop of Cologne. The University of Cologne (Universität zu Köln) is one of Europe's oldest and largest universities.[2]

Eish that's from my dad's days that **** is heavy strong.they don't make them like that anymore

Don't know why you are interested in CK, but Burberry is a much bigger brand in Japan. Most of the Japanese branded crap is bound for the Chinese and South-East Asians. You'll find Japs more attuned to English style than American most days. They're a practical bunch.

I think Azzaro Chrome works for me. Its one of the scents I have currently.
Im alternating between Pacco Rabanne 1 Million, Davidoff cool water, Zegna and Chrome.

Need to try Armani Acqua di Gio, Apparently its one of the best

Got this recently, decent for being at the office.
Issey for evening events etc.
D&G The One Sport is waaay to expensive and seems like just like a stronger version of Azzaro.

Issey make some nice stuff, better priced than most especially the bigger bottles, I like all their releases except the sport which has a note that makes me feel a little ill.

Where's a good place to apply the cologne so that I smell it the least and others smell it more? I find it too noticeable applying it to my wrists, I don't like smelling cologne when I'm eating or lifting my cup of coffee to take a sip.

RAS aside, generic perfumes and colognes are bullschit.

There are only two colognes I wear - Aramis Havana and Nine West. Nine West if Aramis is off the shelves, which it often is...
Well just bought some of this - hopefully DJs tastes don't fail me.

Weirdly though almost all these are blocked for delivery for my location. :wtf:

Im still trying to find my signature scent.
Its a long and expensive process. Unless I can buy those miniature samples somewhere...

Go to Edgars or Foschini and ask them to spray it on those papers.
Take the paper home and re-smell over the course of the week.

I have a variety of scents I prefer, but they all depend on time of day/occasion/season of the year etc.

Had a sample of Fau di Fendi - Acqua.
Apparently a new one.
Tried it this morning. Scent was ok. But smell completely gone now.

Some fragrances are like paychecks, one minute they are their and the next minute all traces have vanished never to be seen again.

Drier skinned people experience this to the greatest degree, some fragrances are just downright useless though, a good scent for me is one that smells go and lasts, the test I use is usually that if you spray it on clothes you can easily still smell it the next day, and on your skin it at least lingers till you wash it off.

Behind your ears and back of your neck

On your willy. The girls like a nice smelling willy when they on their knees and playing hide the sausage.

Eros by Versace or Boss original (silver cap with the green strap connecting it to the bottle) - perennial winners for me
