How about you give Horde a whirl? ...there's a big friendly SA guild there <Prophecy>, or if you're more into the progression raiding scene, there's quite a couple of us in <Coup de Grace>.
I was in prophecy for a while, but they are a little too casual for me so I migrated of the server to my friends when pve -> pvp became available. Dont get me wrong, they are a great bunch of people, but I really enjoy the raiding side of things.
As I said above I know horde inside out. Having leveled 2 locks, paladin and a shaman I find myself dreading the thought of logging on at the moment.
Edit: I would however do Horde again if I could find a raiding guild that would accept a DK as raider.

Since the expansion everything's been turned upside-down, so there's plenty of room for all sorts of classes right now. Esp. since the whole deal with this patch being any class can do any job equally well

Nothing wrong with DK's, its just there is so many of them running around that raiding spots will become pretty scarce for them soon.

I dunno hey, yeah sure in our guild plenty have rolled a DK ...but I think it's more of a novelty. Many of them will return to their mains I'm sure
But even if there was a whole bunch, I don't think "raid slots" means the same as it used to. Bring the player, not the class - being the new WoW mantra
