Can't believe there are still people playing on the US servers from South Africa. The latency to Europe not slow eneugh for you and need to add another 100 ms to it?

I do play Alliance, on Shadowsong, but I am prerry much the only South African there.

The reason there are still so many US players is because the people there have all played WoW for a while or they've joined friends.
It's not easy to walk away from a well geared 70 to reroll on EU when all your mates aren't.

TheShogun is correct, however if you are starting new I recommend EU, simply because the south african population on US realms is diminishing its a fact I keep close ties with a few guilds on US stormrage and everyday now someone drops and rolls on EU. So without a decent body of ZA players you are stuck in US timezones so you will be raiding at 2am in a US guild.

Come to US servers. Join the dark side.

EU Twilight's Hammer has a few SA Horde Guilds (Pap en Vleis, Ripple Effect and natural Perfection to name a few, but i'm not sure of this) who raid

on the Alliance side theres also a stack of SA players, but i dont know of any guilds (wish i did though)

I'm on Quel'Thalas and belong to Knights Templar Guild. There are a few saffers in the guild, but majority are not. But what an awesome bunch of people.

on QT, i know of a couple SA peeps on that server but as said before they belong to various raiding guilds on the server.

getting them to join one SA guild will take an arm and a leg , most of them runing around in T5 and very good raiding guilds.

Looks like I will be crossing over to the dark side

I heard from a friend on my current realm that there is a lot of SA people playing Horde on Twilight’s Hammer EU (PVP). (He has just moved)

So it looks like my arm is getting twisted to roll a toon there. Wish me luck.

When and I get some time I’ll try to look up some of you on the Alliance side.

P.S. Anyone know which is the top rated Raiding guilds SA. (Horde or Alliance) EU

Lots of SA players on TH (EU)

Just think of anything Afrikaans and a /who and you will find us. Or just chat in general chat and you'll get a reply

On TH, Natural Perfection and Ripple Effect are good raiding guilds (afaik) and they have a lot of ZA players.
