Hi Guys,

I boutht my TV 4 days ago and love it. The picture quality is awesome.

Just one thing I have noticed is when I turn of my DSTV decoder and I really look closeup to the black screen about 20cm from the screen I can see the discovery logo. But as soon as I switch the decoder back on you can't see it even if there is a black background. Anything more than a metre form the tv you can't see it at all even when the decoder is off. While watching tv also you can't see it at all.

Is this Image retention or burn in?

Is it something to worry about or not?

How long does the logo stay there for? It shouldn't stay there for longer then a minute or 2. However if you watch discovery 24/7 then it might start to burn in properly. Leave another channel on for 10 minutes then switch the TV off & see if the logo is still there
