LG Flatron L1710B Problems

I have 2 x LG Flatron L1710B LCD Monitors, both purchased at the same time and both with the same run hours. The one has taken to going into sleep mode on it's own. Sometimes the image stays, and other times you power on the image flashes and the screen goes into "power save" mode??? Any ideas? Or is it time too upgrade

Have you tried swapping the monitors between ports? Could be cable, port or card. I have 2 of these on my desk at the office, both good, but on the older machine the LG flickers yellow a bit.

Even with all cables disconnected and only power connected, switch on and the screen flashes with DVI Power save mode active, then blank. With DVI connected does the same, shows desktop then flashes the message then blank, will try with VGA cable tonight.
