i am able to get this monitor for about 1200-00 and was just wondering if it's any good as i cant seem to find any reviews on it

I would say any LG is good and so is the price you can get it for.

Its got pretty good specs plus its 8bit (probably 6+dithering). And Id also like to know where you can get it for 1.2K?

client of mine did him a favour and mentioned i needed a new monitor and he suggested the lg he is a supplier so i guess i'm paying supplier prices
