I'm looking for an 8 inch tablet(that isn't crapple)

the G pad seems great but all the talk of the nexus 8 makes it out to be a great tab.

Opinions? other options?

Any help appreciated

I know this might not be what your looking for but what about a note 3?

I have the G Pad 8.3 and absolutely loving it - LG are launching new tablets - seen reports
At this point the Nexus 8 is still speculation

your one link was for a smartphone...i'm looking for a tablet

I really like the nexus 7, but the screen is just too close in size to my G2...i know it sounds weird but an 8 inch screen really makes a difference to me

The G Pad to me is a great tablet! I love the G2 and its pretty much the tablet version. I did a lot of reading on the G Pad when my brother was looking for a tab. I personally have a Nexus 7... My brother ended up with the 1st gen iPad Mini. IMO, Apple makes the better tablet and iOS is more suited to tablets than Android is. Another thing playing against me is that I get bored of the OS fairly easily and seeing as you have an Android phone, why not get the iPad to get the best of both OSes? - Unless of course you are not an Apple fan;)

i am not an Apple fan...but thanks for the input! also i've read that the nexus 7 has some touch screen issues. is this true?

Great tab but I paid almost half of that for the G Pad 8.3 (R2700).

Not on mine. I have the 2012 model.

It is actually, but only on the first Gen 2012 models. They had fixed it by the 2nd or 3rd shipment. Even then it's not really bad, comes and goes, most of the time I never notice it on mine.

Still a brilliant tablet, me who loves the latest stuff and all cannot yet justify upgrading from it, the only tab out now worthy of replacing it would be the 2013 model or the note 8,and even then that would be the lesser of the 2 especially if you not a fan of Samsung bloatware.
