How much did you pay for the G3?cause I couldn't afford a oneplus 3T
and I wanted something with (unofficial) updates and removable battery.
blame the genius who stole my wileyfox swift, okay?

That's not too bad.was on special, White model only,
and cost about 1,2K new.

I have a LG G3, works fine, always has, no problems ever. I have the dual sim version (LG-D858HK).
It is now my backup phone.
I have replaced the battery.
Let's see in Summer how these phones behave,I have now started using this phone again, with another sim, I needed another number.
Works fine, very long battery life.
Does not overheat at all.
Not being funny but why the duck would you buy a 6 year old phone as your “new” 2020 phone??
Nothing wrong with Android 9 and judging by how many apps still support Android 5 Lollipop it's probably going to be supported for 6 years still if not more.originally was 6,5K
also had some credits on Takealot, so only ended paying about R800 for it,
another R100 for a flip case, so I don't crack its screen, with my butter fingers
and brought a chinese rip off battery for it, hoping to solve the battery heat and longevity
that caused many problems, mainly due to it not exactly matching its maH,of my original.
ended up using my original battery for it,
and managed to get (after a lot of trial and error)
a working android 10 ROM,
how is it such an old phone is still supported?
when something newer isn't, and still stuck on 9?
what I wouldn't give for a oneplus in my budget.

How's it running on the custom ROM?mine is rooted to android 10, and its officially supported and gets security updates once a week.
so could be worse
How's it running on the custom ROM?
I think drop a link to the rom for anyone stumbling on this thread in futuremuch cooler and much more reliably,
amazing how much diffrence a custom and updated Rom does.
